It's true--we're retrofitting them with 76 lie-flat First cabins to avoid scope clauses, and operating them IAD-CDG and IAD-LHR starting 3rd quarter 2015. United wants to put the "Express" back in "United Express."
Luckily, for existing CAs, the Concorde's MTOW is 408,000 pounds, so they should be able to make lateral moves...although I could see the company trying to claim that the CRJ-200 is the "base variant"--even for Concorde pilots. Time will tell!

Word on the street is that facebiter is being recruited as a street hire check airman after giving J.O. a reach around in his parent's basement. I'm being told the checkride will include yoga and the ability to make kale smoothies while simultaneously shooting an inverted single engine ILS with an APU fire on short final.
