I'll gladly take that wager. If you promise to let us all see the look on your faces when you are unable to go from Mesa to anywhere but allegient. If you're lucky.

I'll be happy to report back on a bi-weekly basis on how much life has improved since getting paroled from shawshank-mesa. You guys still want to believe that a regional is a regional is a regional. One day you may or may not wake up to the FACT that Mesa is bottom of the barrel in just about all sectors in this industry. I know many ex-Mesa guys who made the lateral move and all confirm this.

Soon I will as well....gladly. Talk to you soon.

Dude, you are so full of **** it's to funny. Just today, I had a Delta pilot recommend Mesa to me based on my situation. It's not all bad, and if one can stand the low pay (and crap hotels, based on what I read here), Mesa isn't all that bad, and is full of great pilots. The ones I know personally and have talked to via PM give me a very high impression of the group as a whole.

P.S. Guess where that DL pilot used to work? That's right... Mesa.

Good luck with your careers. I officially have an interview lined up next week and one foot out the door of this hell hole. It'll take a couple of years working somewhere else to dilute having Mesa on my resume, but the bump in my quality of life AND pay will be worth it. Circle the wagons on this thread all you want. The word is out on Mesa being a horrible career choice and many people are aware of this these days. That post on Facebook is just the tip of the iceberg.

Good luck! You all will need it!!

I was talking about you DB.

Which is why he recommended Mesa. Because he doesn't know any better.

How do you know this person wasn't at another regional before Mesa?

Of course that's it. Except that's not it. He listened to my situation, and made a recommendation. As a professional pilot who made it to the Majors.

In fact, he was (well, might have been after Mesa; he mentioned both to me, not sure of the order of employment). But didn't see the need to bring that into the equation here.

This is the most entertaining thread on the forum currently. Beats any movie or drama on TV right now. Keep at it guys!

I personally find it more enjoyable when these arguments and flame wars spill out onto the ramp frequencies in DFW and CLT.
