So far every , and I mean every pilot I have flown with in the XL likes the IBI , YMMV of course. I completely respect the opinions of those who feel otherwise.
There is no incentive to go into a large cabin aircraft at NJA aside from YOS for the real senior pilots. You are gone the same amount of days a month and there is no pay incentive aside from the flight pay, so what would normally be a junior airplane, will get more senior for the people that want more flight pay, that is completely counter culture to airline fleets and how things are bid. Not even close to the same. You think people at Delta bid out of the 777 and into the 717 so they can work harder?

I am sure everyone in the XL is happy, they were getting their butts kicked, now they get more money for it. It will wear off like the 2015 CBA did, but at least you are getting closer to what you deserve now.

Of course, the union says the fleet averages are the same.
It isn't fair.

Not much is.

How do you propose they fix it?

Fleet assignment doesn’t guarantee bigger paychecks. I’m in the 350 (considered one of the busier and more reliable fleets) and I’ve yet to break 20 hours in a tour. So yeah, I get a few bucks here and there, but it’s a complete crap shoot as to how much you will be making on your next tour. I’ve spoken to some 350 drivers getting 38 hrs in a week! Yet here I am, barely able to crack half that number. Granted, my work weeks have been on the mellower side with long overnights and short days mixed in.

Every pilot needs to distance themselves from this FDPP as it is entirely out of your control. Enjoy when you get it, but DO NOT rely on it. The only fair part is the more you fly, the more you make....

The union doesn't have flight time data yet. We've been asking for it. We'll get it eventually but might take a little time.

Funny how perspectives change. I used to think 14 hours was a long overnight....

14 hours is the bare minimum an overnight should be.

Smart. They will make more at year 5 as an FO than a 15 year CA on the 7/7.
