One other question. During normal times and properly staffed is it reasonable to make 150k as an FO?

Two or three years in, if you're willing to work the CC72 or CC76, yes, it would be possible.

But you might want to hitch the cart BEHIND the horse....

I appreciate all the answers and also the tips to worry about the Expo.

I can say I have had over a month to get ready and have done interview prep and all paperwork for the logbook is complete.

These are questions that come up when I am comparing things at different places, I am trying to make an informed decision if they do offer me a job.

I am not bragging or boasting but I have 3 interviews all within 12 days so I am trying to gather information and make informed decisions.

I want my next position to be my last position. god willing

Thanks again for everyone's help

Best of luck on all three. Nice problem to have. Unfortunately, you won't know for sure you made the right choice until the day you retire...

It's a great problem to have and a showing of the times. Pilots are starting to have the upper hand. You can do a lot worse than NJA. In fact if you wanted to fly private jets, there is nowhere else you wanna be. If you are thinking airlines, that is a whole other topic of conversation.

I agree with you. I keep asking questions because I keep thinking I am missing something at Netjets that's makes the job not so great but I cant seem to find it. I know every job has it quirks and downfalls but honestly Netjets people seem very happy and that is very refreshing.

The woman I spoke with in the travel department was awesome and she told me how much she enjoyed the company and her job.

It's great to hear things like that.

NJA as a company is really great. Everyone in CMH is really nice, and do a fantastic job. Aside from the "A Team" BS, I think corporate does actually care about the pilot group and other employees and treat everyone fairly. But for me, the life on the road was slowly killing me. The flying never stopped, the overnights were short and the pay left something to be desired when comparing to the airlines. The basing options are great at NJA and like I said there are way worse ways too spend a career than at NJA. You can earn ok money at NJA but you work really hard for it, and it takes close to a decade to make really good money. None of my 2015 hire buddies that are still at NJA cracked 200k in 2021. Only you can decide what is most important to you and whether NJA verses other fractionals or airlines is the place to go. Also, you won't know what will make you happier until you try one, then leave for the other lol.

I checked back in with the FO I flew with that said he was going to be near $340k.

346k. 800 hours of flying.

An FO.
