Default For the pilot recruiters

Well I'm going to be in a unique situation in about 6 or 7 months. I am a 1250 RTP guy so getting my hours is not the issue. I'm going to be coming in with well over 1500 TT and 1250 PIC multi-Turbine time as well. The only issue is I'm under contract at my current employer and will be ready to leave for PSA by next March or April. Due to the contract I'm obligated to stay through September of 2018 and do not have the finances avaialable to leave early and join PSA. See my issue, I would love to leave early and join PSA whenever I have all my hours which could be within the next 6 months, but financial I cannot. Any suggestions recruiters?

What exactly would you want to know? No one is going to pay you to skip out on a contract early, because people will think you will do the same thing to them.

A former employee was given money from another regional to leave 5 months early so I was just hoping! PSA is my top choice and if you knew the situation it wouldn't have sounded so out of character.

You'll be given a new hire bonus that you can use to pay off your contract. I'm guessing you are at a 135. If so, that'll learn ya (as it has many before you)

How much is the contract payout? Just use the signing bonus.

Default Who pays for parking when commuting?

Let's say I commute from CLT to DCA and I leave my car at Charlotte. Who pays for the parking?

I do this, and have a parking pass at CLT provided by the company.

Default DCA Parking

Does PSA also pay for parking if you live in base? I live in Alexandria, VA, hope to fly out of DCA, and had been wondering if parking would come out of pocket? Is there a parking compensation limit per month?

You get a parking pass for crew bases, but not any other airport. So, I pay for a pass at my home airport, but I have a free parking pass for CLT since its my base.

Thanks FlexNinja on the parking answer...

A question about bonuses for anyone that knows... since I recognize each company treats these differently.

PSA has a $16.5k signing bonus (I don't have a CRJ type rating), then a $20k one-year retention bonus.
Do each carry a one year commitment? As an easy example, if I fly for PSA for 18 months, would I receive the full $16.5k after completion of the first year, then get to keep half of the $20k for flying half of the second year? Thanks!
