Probably depends on who you talk to. Ten is probably the "standard" but not the minimum.

10 includes the Sim Zero (orientation day) and Check Ride.

Then 1 day of LOFT.

Standard Sim Schedule is:

Sim 0, 4 people and an instructor.

Sim 1-8 is the planned curriculum.

Sim 9-12 as required at the discretion of the training department.

Checkride

LOFT

After that, a day and a half in ground in CLT for Differences. could be several days and/or weeks after the check ride.

Then two sessions of Differences Sim. Could be several days and/or weeks after ground.

Then IOE. Could be several days/weeks/months after Sim.

Good luck.

The training manual has 8 training sessions. Then the checkride. Then the loft. Sim 0 is not required, but they've been doing it as an introduction to the sim. It is pretty standard to give 2 additional training sessions to those that need it prior to the PC. Beyond that, it's up to management.

Personally, I think anyone needing training beyond the 8-10 sessions should be let go except in extenuating circumstances. The extra session or two is meant for a student to polish things up if needed. On occasion, there have been those allowed to have 12 or more sessions (a little ridiculous in my opinion) to try to push them through. But it is not the norm.

Check ride was 12/18, Diff Ground and Sim done, still waiting on the call. Depending on what rumors you believe could be anywhere from 2-6 weeks.
