I may be wrong here, but, since the "hiring boom" began at PSA, has anyone actually gotten a line yet or are they still waiting for IOE?
Based on them hiring 60+ pilots a month, will it not come to the point where they'll have too many pilots for the rate of aircraft coming in, or is attrition taking care of that on its own?

They also expect attrition to really pick up soon. Half of the new hires are prior 121, and the majority of them will be applying to the majors/lcc's, of they haven't already.
So, it is likely a combination of both. PSA may be occasionally overstaffed, but it won't last long. There are 3 airplanes arriving on property almost every month from here out, so there will certainly be more lines.

Management has said openly that they can take the new airplanes (700/900) as fast as they can staff them.
