LOL welcome to APC. Don't take it personal, just imagine where some of these guys are. They are stuck in a hotel at some boaring overnight, or they are sitting at the gate waiting for a delayed dead head home. They are killing time reading APC, and they see your post. They say to themselves Fresh meat! Let's take out some pent up aggression on this newbie. Don't worry most of them are really nice in person. This is my second regional airline, and so for its going pretty good. You just have to accept that PSA is a regional airline and that its not the promise land. I wish you the best!
Yea I'm realizing it. Thank you very much!

You are right. I should've been more sensitive. But don't take everything so personally. I am just starting to learn about this industry. Realized it's not 'go get 1500' and then boom ur flying for airlines!
I am researching and heard hey check out PSA. It's a good company and just gotten better. It's THE company to join. Then now I heard the upgrade isn't that fast anymore. Now I never experienced how things are with upgrade anod reserve and all the other BS you guys experienced. This one is a newbie and was asking a simply factual question for his spreadsheet for comparison.

In regards to your comment about the whining, know there's a ton of pilots here that didn't get as lucky and entered the industry when the hiring was minimal, so they spent years on reserve and another 6-7 years waiting for an upgrade, again, only because of timing.
You're in a position now where you'll basically see almost no reserve (unless you go to Envoy) and a relatively quick upgrade at 2 years (in average). All of this was unheard of just a few years ago, so you're fresh meat and a punching bag for some, but don't take it too personally...
I am in the same boat as you but I am bit closer to the 1300 hours you need to be able to apply at PSA (they'll bring you in for an interview when you're 3 months from reaching minimums). When looking for a regional, my suggestion is just look at the big picture....is the base close to you, is the company growing or shrinking...etc....PSA seems like a good choice for a lot of people, and they aren't having a problem attracting pilots. Good luck to you!

If yo do end up at PSA, you will likely be in class with people that spent over 3 years on reserve, and were FO's for more than 7 years with no upgrade. In their mind, that is the "norm" - and it was a few years ago.
Be happy that things are changing and anything under 2 years upgrade without prior 121 experience is GREAT.

I am going to refrain, because I do not want to get the reputation like some guys on here as someone that only posts to try to get your $$$.
Required documents include:
Licenses
Medical (First Class)
FCC License
Passport
College Transcripts (especially if using R-ATP)
Military discharge documents
ATP Written Results (If you don't have your ATP yet)
Also, make sure to bring an updated resume. I would suggest bringing a few copies so each person that is interviewing you has one.
You will bring copies of each of these documents and they will keep the copies.
