I was curious about the work history....and how they go about that. I'm in my early 30s and never had a W2 job, always been an independent contractor and owned my own business, so there won't be any tax records showing "employment", but I do have my own tax records for me and the company. Reason I ask is because in the app, it lists if I've had any gaps in employment and why....but as an independent contractor, sometimes you just do...... - would that be an issue?
The only employment questions I was asked back in December @ PSA was about my current job as an operations manager and how much flying I did holding that position. I also think that was just small talk because the HR lady had stepped in the hallway for a moment to take a phone call. After that it just rolled into the normal aircraft flown and simple systems questions like mentioned in the gouge.

As an independent contractor, you are self employed. Just because you are not working an actual gig at the moment doesn't change the fact that you are still running a business. Revenue in your business doesn't necessarily have to come from your gigs. Setup an LLC or Corp for yourself if it makes you feel better.

Good deal. The corp has been under my name since it was founded, so no issues there. It'll just be interesting to put the "supervisor's name and phone number" under the slots, since I've been the supervisor of my independent contractors since I run the business. I'll just have to explain...

You can count the amount on the PSA Facebook. The one on the far left looks like he has a lot of CAP experience. But other than that, I don't know the experience level.

You, your wife/husband, kids, and parents all get flight benefits. As far as buddy passes go, you get 16 per year. Buddy passes are good for one direction of travel, not leg by leg. (so, if you go from MCO to CLT, and CLT to LAX, that is one buddy pass).
