I got an email last week with revised training materials for the 4/13 class. 700/900 instead of the 200. Looks like the Clarion Hotel in Englewood. Is that where the other training classes have stayed? Another email with what I assume may be a new process. "321 Forms" appears to be a hosting site where you fill out new employment paperwork, PRIA & drug testing consents, etc. Didn't take long and seems like an efficient way to get the information recorded.

My class stayed at the Clarion. Free Breakfast and they'll make you a bag lunch. Decent restaurant and bar in the hotel with happy hour specials. Big supermarket is a 10 minute walk.

Some guys did have vehicles and that does make things easier. Sometimes the wait for the hotel shuttle after class could be a bit long.
You'll have weekend breaks through indoc and systems, but once you're doing your IPTs that will change.
You could non rev home it you wanted to, but I wouldn't recommend it as you could get stuck and not make it back to DAY on Monday.

I second the notion on not leaving during training. If you get stuck out of town, you will likely be dropped back to start the program again, or just terminated. They make it pretty clear that you are not allowed to miss classes, especially for travel.
Some guys had their family come and visit them for the weekend - using family flight benefits.
You will not get flight benefits until about half way through systems, if not later (depends on when you get your badge). It usually takes about 16 days.
I drove and was happy that I did, but it was not necessary. Enjoy class, learn a lot, and have fun.

When I went through initial at Pinnacle we had weekend breaks after Indoc and during systems....a couple of times 3 days. I'd non-rev home but you're right, you gotta be sure you can get back and the closer you get to sims the more serious things get. I'm near ATL so I might have more opportunities than some.
