So, we are getting 3 new planes a month from here on out. That is 30 new pilots.
Can we get 30 people through IOE in a month? (both 200 and 700/900 IOE)

You need more FO's to actually increase FO staffing since any increase in captain staffing obviously draws from the FO side. 15/15 would only keep the number of FO's constant while continually adding to CA numbers. So the 25 new hires per class (50/mo) is about right factoring in washout rate, attrition, etc. in order to actually drive an increase in the total number of FO's.

If the wait time for IOE is 2 months, there must be over 100 pilots getting paid to sit at home. Seems ridiculous.
