I would agree that the 700s will not come over at the planned rate but they will still come over. PSA is still way more attractive than Envoy for new hires (three year FO reserve vs 2 year upgarde). If they don't increase the "flow" numbers at PSA they will lose more captains to other carriers and will eventually have a recruiting problem. I wouldn't go bragging about how great Envoy will be in a few years, there are strong rumors of you guys losing even more 145s to XJT which will put a wrench in that 5 year new hire to AA plan that you are so convinced will happen.

Where did you get that info? From what I'm hearing they are right on schedule as the Check Airman and Trainers are to be typed in June. Sim's and program are all ready to go. I believe they will arrive on schedule in January.

You DO know that currently new hires with CA mins are finishing IOE and going right back for CA upgrade because the PSA FOs don't have the time to upgrade right?
You do know that if they begin taking the 700's too they WILL be forced to go to street captains.
You do know that if they do go to street captains the majority of CA seats WILL get filled by senior FOs from other regionals taking those slots.
You do know that will cause huge stagnation of PSA FOs right?
Party time is over at PSA and even their MEC knows it. Call and ask your PSA rep.

FYI we have a bunch (over 70) of FOs that are qualified to upgrade but are bypassing for whatever reason, we are not out of eligible captains. I'm all for street captains, I will move up in seniority quicker and the senior FOs can enjoy their nice schedules even longer. I bet the first street captain class is at least 75% envoy pilots.

Much remains to be seen about how Street Captains would actually work so your predictions of doom and gloom are still very premature.

The Cuuj has a point: you are on the edge of street Captains. Yes it will bleed envoy more dry, but they will cause an issue with the whole plan over there.

Yup after 10 years of 121 flying I have come to that conclusion after seeing what you gummers have done for the industry. Don't hate the player, hate the game your generation created.

Not too premature at all, Ask your MEC

Meanwhile, our guys will be street to AA in under six years. Like it or not since it restarted the flow has worked exactly as they said it would. A very nice backup plan while they apply everywhere. You PSA and PDT guys are the ones that always said AAG does what they say.... Well, that's what they're saying. Is your PSA CEO an actual AAG officer? Ours is.
