Initial IOE requires a min. 25 hours. Differences requires a min 10 hours. Quote numbers you know and keep the rumors to yourself. Why don't you loft those air biscuits on PSA's Web board? Michael

So what's with all the talk on the "regional upgrade" thread, about the time has passed to go to PSA, esp if you are looking to upgrade?

That poster is a line pilot at another airline who doesn't have any actual data to back up his claims.

In three days our bid packet for next month will be released, along with a current seniority list. I'll take a look at the numbers and make some educated guesses for all to see.

That said, I'm sure the self proclaimed PSA expert will loudly proclaim that I'm full of it.

I hear that it isn't going to happen till after the critical pay arbitration.
Y? I don't know.

Rumor has it that the company has already said no to increasing the numbers. It doesn't take a math major to figure out how long it will take for the person on the bottom of the list to make it to American. If they do not increase the numbers to 10% they will never be able to fill the seats required for the additional aircraft. Someone could go to Compass or Mesa for the quick upgrade just as easy as coming to PSA.

I'm sure they know this.. Something will have to give. And there are plenty of people coming into this industry that have other goals for career destination jobs besides AA.

What's the upgrade at those two places now anyway? I'm sure they are slightly longer than PSA. It's still the "go to" for east coasters IMO.
