I got an email last week with revised training materials for the 4/13 class. 700/900 instead of the 200. Looks like the Clarion Hotel in Englewood. Is that where the other training classes have stayed? Another email with what I assume may be a new process. "321 Forms" appears to be a hosting site where you fill out new employment paperwork, PRIA & drug testing consents, etc. Didn't take long and seems like an efficient way to get the information recorded.

It really doesn't matter which one you start in. You will not fly the 700/900 more if you start with that, and you aren't payed more.
Honestly, it is better to start in the 200 if anything. It is a harder airplane (less automated) and you have a lot more time during initial to cover everything.
Here is a good rumor with absolutely no basis whatsoever. The only reason that we are starting a 700 initial program is that we are sending all of the 200's to Air Wisconsin and picking up more 900's (the rest of the options). Other than that, there is no real reason to start initial training in the 700's. It certainly isn't to speed up the sims, because we have many more 200 sims than 700 sims.

Besides, the big backlog is IOE, not sims.

As it is right now, if a LCA has a line that only has 700/900 flying, they can only do SLF or CA IOE, hence the delay.
Both sims in CLT are 700 capable (One is 200/700, the other 700/900). All 3 in CVG are 200 only.
