Nobody here is opposed to the hiring of as many pilots as we can get our hands on.

Well that's good for you. Their basically telling you to keep yo stuff. Of course staffing is the issue. Recruiting FO's has not been a problem. Staffing includes Captians, ground instructors,SIM instructors, checkairmen. There's 300 FOs in CLT and 150 lines, it ain't FOs. It's clear their having to restrict the amount of lines and increase line value because of the captain side.

What is actually happening?
Is AAG making offer that allows Envoy pilots to come to PSA as street captains, paying them more money and to keep flying the same airplane?
OR
Are pilots being forced to transfer to PSA against their will?
There is a huge difference. If it is the first one, who cares?!?! If they want to go to PSA, they can. If not, they can go do whatever they want to. Envoy is self admittedly overstaffed and they want pilots to leave. Only some will leave by the flow, the rest will need to leave on their own.

A couple years ago ALPA came up with a FFD program. Basically it was to protect pilot jobs. Management could move airplanes as they wish but the pilots stayed with the aircraft. Basically it would stop the ability to move airplanes and have people start at year 1 all over again.
If PSA does get the Eagles 700's, I'm all for the pilots coming with them. Better yet they should keep their seniority for pay. Give them Chicago or whatever base they want and put up fences. PSA doesn't need the 700's. No pilot I talk to wants the airplanes here. Its all up to Doug Parker.
