Leaving all these street captains on reserve almost indefinitely. Nice bill of goods you are trying to sell to your fellow pilots.

Doesn't your airline have pilots on reserve for like 4 years now? Holy sh*t our new hires will have moved through our system to a major in the time it takes one of your FO's to just get off FO reserve. Talk about a bill of goods!!!

The longevity to hold a line as captain in CLT, DAY and TYS will hover around 2 years. That time will probably be less for the new base. A street captain can expect to be on reserve for at least one year and probably no more than two years, that's no so bad considering FOs at Envoy are on reserve for 3+ years.

Yep our poor FOs and Junior CAs have indeed been sitting in reserve an average of 3.5 years. Do you think anyone thought that was going to happen? Beware of what you laugh at. PSA has been there before and you will be there again. In this game it is certain.

Even with 1.5+ year FOs starting to upgrade in 3-4 months, each class will probably have some 6-8 month FOs sprinkled in.

Well at least you admit you were trying to misdirect. Admitting you have a problem is the first step in the healing process.

Envoy's had long upgrade and reserve times for quite some time. I remember back in 2011 or before the upgrade time was 10 years at Eagle. Eagle didn't become a crappy place to work overnight, the writings been on the wall even before the AMR bankruptcy when it was publicly announced AMR wanted to "divest eagle."
