I'm not bitter or miserable, just making some points. I was able to credit 130+ hours every month but it appears the company might be putting an end to that (due to their manipulation of the buffers on the reserve grid). Oh well, I can upgrade and have the base of my choice. I probably wont be on reserve long considering a that of folks junior to m are upgrading. Time will tell how the ability to receive critical/premium plays out. In my opinion, the company is being very shady right now.

It is embarrassing working for PSA sometimes. I've never been denied a jumpseat, but some guys are jerks( mostly envoy and rightfully so) when I'm checking in. I accepted a job at PSA before the crap LOA was out there and I was on probation during the vote. Some guys claim they voted no, which may or may not be true. I wasn't allowed to vote and my hire date proves it.

Two questions.
Will 121 guys hired now at PSA be captains in a year?
Do you think there is enough ship jumpers to staff the 77 airplanes PSA is scheduled to get?
Ok three questions.
Do you think there are enough entry-level aviators to fill in FO positions when the ship jumpers are no more?

As to your other questions, I don't have the breakdowns of other classes, but my class on the 13th of October had GoJet, Envoy, Endeavor, and L-ASA people in it. Some Corp, some Mil, and about 40% R-ATP CFIs with less than 1,500 hours and a degree from the right school.
I asked one of the training point point blank about an ATP written program and he said the company has one in the works.
My own thoughts: We'll have a decent amount of lateral move guys for a while. The ones getting in now, and for like the next 6-8 months are in a good spot, the ones beyond that will at the very least see short times on reserve.
The pool of entry level aviators doesn't seem to be thinning just yet. We'll see.

As to your first question, probably. Subject to the aircraft continuing to arrive on property, which is subject to them filling classes. See this link.
