75% overall, recently(1-3) better than 80% making it through the whole way

From every FO I ask just out of the schoolhouse, out of classes sizes of around 30-35 there are generally 2-3 who wash out for various reasons.

TSA staffs at 11.1 pilots per plane, so 900 pilots for TSA. PSA if staffing is the same would be 1400 pilots.

Can you show the aircraft guaranteed contracts that psa or TSA signed with asg?

Nope, I can show you the PSA website that talks about their growth and predicted fleet, and the articles about TSA acquiring more aircraft.

Point taken, no fleet guarantee, no idea of length of contracts etc. Just reposting what I've read

Who knows, maybe all the CRJ and EMJ will be staying with us at envoy! I wouldn't hold my breath though

It's pretty impressive that they are able to find that many people to hire in such a short amount of time, that means they'll have more than enough pilots before they get all of the airplanes, would you agree?

If not by the time you get the 1000 SIC you should be pretty close to upgrade.

Someone hired right now at PSA would not be upgrading as quickly as guys hired earlier this year(8 month upgrade) but 1.5-2 years is not out of the question as long as you are hired in the next 6ish months.
I just wonder... If you are hiring even 50 a month, that's only 10 more months of hiring until you meet your staffing level, not including attrition. Someone hired in 6 months would be 1,300 out of 1,400 or 1,500 required total pilots. So in two years you figure 600 senior pilots attrition and replacements for them, so that 2 year pilot can upgrade? Seems a little optimistic. Certainly there will be attrition but I don't think that much.

My class started with 24 in June and will be down to 13 remaining when I leave in February.

Sorry I don't think I understand. Your newhire class of June 2014? Upgrade class of June 2014?

Okay honestly I have no idea hah, but it sounds like attrition from your new hire class. Not exactly the movement off the top you are looking for.

I'm a CFI right now, so I'll be coming in with zero 121 time. 1.5-2 years is still relatively quick. Like I said, it's the only reason I'm considering PSA, since I like living out west. I'd hate to get in and stagnate as an FO for 5 years. If that were the case, I'd go to SkyWest.
