I can't recommend in good conscious ANY of the AAG regionals.

PSA just had its fate sealed to be a stagnant airline with little to no growth left and long reserve.

Piedmont may be the best option of the 3, but the bases suck and so does their schedules.

Envoy has long reserve times, terrible schedules for line holders, and isn't filling classes like the rest of the AAG regionals.

ALL 3 wholly owneds have industry low pay. Only Mesa pays less than us. Go somewhere else. Parker has made it clear that he only cares about cheap feed. He knows AA will get plenty of pilots with or without the wholly owned regionals flowing pilots. So at this point I would say it is abundantly clear that the flows will be metered or possibly stopped if it jeapordizes Parker's bottom line. What a joke.

The company will see if their bonus programs work and if not they will do what they need to do to attract new hires. Also Doug apparently made a point tjat he only cares about how cheap the wholly owns are and giving them more money won't make them cheap. Good thing we turned down those bonuses...

There's plenty of captains to up the flow ..Then they can start upgrading FOs and get things moving ..

We have plenty of CAs for now but not enough FOs to upgrade to replace them. Can't flow people with no one to replace them.

You have to create the movement first

Once again you have to remember this is a business and it's bad business to let people go and hope you can replace them when there is a shortage of pilots. Envoy has a better flow than us and people are not kicking down the door to go there. The amount we can let go is directly based on the amount we can bring in and we're not bringing very many in.

I think if you increase the flow which is what AA wants and upgrade existing FOs( I believe most are coming up on 1000 SIC) then you can get pilots in the door especially with a short upgrade and quick flow to American .It won't
cost anything ..You may have to run a couple of months with little or no reserve but that is probably
what the problem is..PSA likes to have guys sitting around doing nothing .Of course other things would have to change like a new base to attract the other 50
Percent of the country and more efficient schedules ..

The difference between us and envoy is that we have growth in airplanes and they don't.

There are other options too..You could make the captains dual qualified in both seats ..(Mesa does this) I would want captain pay of course ..

Until we can't staff them. We won't keep getting planes if we don't have pilots. We may get the rest of the 900s but well lost 200s and 700s. Once again Parker made it clear it's about the money and planes sitting around not being flown doesn't make money.
