doesn't PSA have guaranteed movement via flow as well? If Doug wants 10 years, why does their website say 6...

Yea we have guaranteed movement via the flow, however our numbers flowing each month are much less than Envoy for the time being. However, many are hopeful our numbers will go up this summer when our NC goes back to the table with the company to discuss it. I think upgrade here will settle around 3 years when it is all said and done. Which in my opinion isn't a bad thing... Lots of 2500 hour CAs flying around with 1500 hour FOs isn't always the safest. And that isn't a shot at anyone in particular, just my opinion. And it isn't necessarily the norm here, but I have seen it. Upgrade will be easier as well when you have had a few years to learn the airplane, the flying, the systems, and the operations.

3 is still comparatively better than 8. Hopefully by mid-summer the NC will put out some good movement.

If you'll read the transcripts from the Dion and Dougie show from a couple weeks ago in CLT, you'll see that Dougie is not a fan of increasing flow because,....... wait for it,..... it will make it harder for him to STAFF HIS LOW COST REGIONALS!!!! Straight from his mouth!

He also stated REPEATEDLY that they're going to see if the increased hiring bonus scheme is going to work and if not, they'll try something else to entice new F/Os to come to PSA. In other words,...... they're guessing,..... like amateurs,...... anything to keep from actually raising the pay scales!

You can read the transcripts from the townhall event at the PSA employee website, (Page 1, directly below the photo of the most recent flight attendant graduates).

If that is where you want to live PSA is the best choice.

Thanks!
I recommend not moving until you are finished with IOE. You never know what could happen, not everyone makes it through training!

Haven't I been saying this for two years now? There is a bunch Envoy posters who still continue to deny this. And I think they know better, I think they recognize this is a ponzi scheme and once the music stops some people are not going to have chairs.

If they can't see that American isn't going to destroy their own feed by now, then they are just flat out lying. And all that grief they give to eaglefly about it is something too.

Doug and Dion made it perfectly clear that increasing the flow isn't really going to happen right now.

I'd expect no increase in June.

Dion also said at one of his town hall meetings a few months ago that PSA was having no trouble hiring, and that there would never be a sign on bonus at PSA.

Next thing that you know, there is a $5000 bonus. A few months later, we have the bigger bonus now.

They only tell you part of the story. Don't believe any announcements. They are trying to get by on spending the least amount possible.
