I guess our deal was pretty good seeing how we tripled in size and got pilots to willingly jump over from other regionals. If only there was a regional out there that never took concessions, never furloughed and paid well that we could all work for.

You sure? If you showed up in class you are basically saying to yourself, sure, I can work with what's there.
Most people don't go into a job thinking, these are some awful workrules and we need a full rewrite of everything and this place sucks because we are getting screwed this way and that way. No. They go thinking I am cool with this and maybe down the road in a good while maybe we can advance even more on what we are currently doing.

PSA pilots may be facing difficult times ahead with the American furloughs coming back. I think 800 have the option, I doubt more than 200 will come back but even so, that's a huge obstacle. Pilots at all three wholly owned carriers need to pay close attention to what's coming in this regard.

I could give 1000 examples of how stupid your reasoning is.

I came for the quick upgrade, I'm owning it. Things have worked out for me because I took advantage of opportunities that presented themselves. PSA was THE place to be at the time. Although I could not predict the future, my timing as it turned out was perfect. The landscape today at PSA doesn't look like what it was when I hired on. There's better places for a new hire today. You really only can see maybe a year into the future in this line of work and have to make decisions with that limited data. If you are not meeting realistic milestones in realistic time frames (a very personal goal), then it is probably time to move on if there are better options that get you to your end goal. I'll remind everyone, getting to a legacy if that's your goal just a year earlier probably means an extra half million dollars in total compensation overall at retirement.

You upgraded??

But also if you went somewhere and the music stopped that is also on you. Most all new pilots coming to their first regional have had enough time to do enough research to see what everyone's pluses and minuses are before interviewing and starting Indoc.
I see my reasoning as just fine.
BTW (I love my german car and I support/appreciate my german heritage.)

I agree that nothing so far has worked. I also agree that increases are needed. I'm just not sold on the idea that they care. I don't think they are delusional into thinking everything is great. I think they are well aware that we're shrinking instead of growing and I just don't think they really care. These nickels and dimes they throw out to "fix" the problem aren't fooling anyone. They have said are staffed to where they want to be and that's why they only need to hire for attrition.
$15K signing bonus and $20K retention bonus are nickels and dimes? True, may not be enough but it's in the millions of $ I'm sure.
I've said it before, AA may be slow to respond but they will respond and not let PSA fail. Way too much invested.
