If you move to be CLT based, I would recommend moving to SC. It is only about a 20 minute drive depending on traffic from Ft. Mill, SC to the airport. And the schools are better there and cost of living is cheaper. However they do not take SC state taxes out of your paycheck. So come April 15th, you will owe. Unless you pay quarterly taxes of course.

As far as TYS, I cannot speak for the schools. But the cost of living is cheap, especially in Maryville. And there is no state tax to be taken out of your check.

You have to make money to pay taxes...here you qualify for all sorts of govt subsidies due to low pay...Walmart greeters make more.

What's your preference...TYS or CLT?

If it's TYS, bid TYS. If you move someplace north of TYS, you can be one hour away from the airport for reserve and it's a straight shot up I-75 to CVG. A little farther north on I-75 is DAY. You'll have to drive for a few months until you get TYS.

Don't forget Tennessee has no state income tax.

New seniority list

Net increase of 3 Pilots. With 20 new hires on the list, that makes 17 resignations.

Must be all that growth and stability they keep talking about.

According to the company Facebook drivel that makes us the fastest growing regional. I guess if they are only considering regionals based in DAY it's true.

Endeavor's C-Series order is being delivered just before the retention bonuses end in 2018. Delta has said the C-Series will replace regional aircraft. I could easily see Endeavor's rentention pay not being renewed and they would be back to the industry's worst pay.

Upgrade there will happen no quicker than at PSA. The CAs on property have all had the option to interview with Delta twice and either couldn't get hired or didn't want to. For new hires, you must upgrade, be a captain for 2 years, and then get a shot at a Delta interview, which has about 50% success rate or the same as ots hiring.

It still could be the best option for you to make a laterall move to another regional. But make sure you are well informed and have reasonable expectations.

You must not be familiar with the term scope. No way Delta pilots will relax it.

I believe Delta said that the C series will replace regional flying at mainline. The C's will not be operated at the regional level, they are being used to replace the regional jets.

There is already a pay scale for jets of this size at mainline Delta.
