They need to get these bonuses a little more competitive. I understand the flow counts for something, so no need to exactly match 9E, but it doesn't count for that much. CA retention bonus only 7500 and only this year right? Leaving them out as the FOs get something for 2 years, and it's way below 9E CA bonus package. The flow counts for some, but not that much. Needs to be at least 10k/yr for 2 years, just like the FO bonus. Really, they need to do 10k for both seats for as long as the pilot is there and let the flow count for the other 10k. Right now, you'll still make significantly more at 9E and get an interview that you have no business failing, seeing as how you got 2-3 years to prep for it.
The captains here before the growth are staying for the flow they bought.
The FO's here before the growth are staying for the upgrade they bought.
All the current FOs have a good deal has you said, so that only leaves the captains who were FO's somewhere else and came here for a quick upgrade and got it, who are now somehow mad.

I wouldn't exactly call 21 "crazy low." It's two days after the New Year. People are still coming off holiday schedules. Even if it's 21 per class for the three January schedules classes, that's 63 numbers of seniority gained in one month. Under the average attrition rate and flow contract, that's still +40 for the month. People leaving above you and coming in behind you (relative seniority, of course).
Not sure why the cause for concern, but I'm pretty happy with it..

Not concern. I am sure there will be plenty of people making the move. However, it's funny how everyone was talking about how full classes are in the beginning of January. "30ish in every single class." "We are full until the end of March."
That's crazy low in terms of how much the hype was. 17 pilots? That's pretty low if you ask me. I am certain it will increase. I was just curious is all.

Part of the problem that every decent company is having right now is that many new hires are taking multiple interviews and multiple offers. There are people with class dates at PSA, PDT, and Endeavor and then are deciding which class they want later on.
This seriously screws up the numbers. We may have 30 booked in a class, but 5 cancel 3 days out because they decided to take Envoy. And then the same thing happens at Envoy with another 5 pilots that are cancelling and coming to PSA.

Per a friend in Dayton, classes are NOT full to 35 until March. They are filling more and more every week, but not yet. We are hiring quite a few every class, and they all expected this weeks class to be small. Interviews around the second half of December were small due to the holidays. There are 3 classes in January, so I don't think it will slow down progress too much.
At this point, no class going forward is currently full. With the implosion that is happening at some other companies, I would not be surprised if we do start maxing out classes at some point in the near future, but not yet.

5 weeks in DAY covering INDOC, systems, -200 differences ground training, IPT's (cockpit procedural trainer on touch screen cockpits). Oral for your class spread over 3-4 days in CLT with two weeks of sims in CLT the week following. As of this moment, no backlog for IOE is what they're saying. I've been told -200 sim differences training is done in CVG fo allowing initial qual in the -700. After that, minimum of 25 hours in the -7/900 IOE and 10 hours in the -200. With no backlog, the footprint should be about 10-11 weeks from INDOC to IOE completion.
