Ask 95% of the pilot group ,they will tell you what they think about him.
BB is the ultimate tool.
No one has anything good to say about him.

Do any of you veteran Round 1 line holders know where I can find gouge on how to utilize SAP? I'm one of the lucky ones who got DCA straight out of IOE (involuntarily, but happy about it now) and could use a hand. What link do I click in FLICA in the left pane to even start?
Appreciate it!

I've been SAPing for about a year now but I'll let someone (PSA Help maybe) chime in on this as I am sitting on an airplane right now.
There is a SAP guide somewhere (maybe the ALPA website), but it will come with practice and quick fingers.
But to answer your question, yes, the day before or day of the SAP opening, you will see the following month pop up under FO SAP in FLICA. It will tell you when it opens (if you think you're edible to SAP and it doesn't show up an hour prior to it opening, you better start calling people...this happened to me and they forgot to put my medical through). A few minutes before SAP opens they open a waiting room that you can sit in and it automatically updates the opentime once the time hits.
Personally, I try to be ready when it opens and put through as many requests as I can in the first 5 minutes (usually anywhere from 5-15 requests). Sometimes I get lucky, sometimes I don't. Just check back every so often as it continously updates the opentime. Some people say that going in between midnight and 4am helps as less people are in SAPing. I don't know, it all seems slow.
Anyways, good luck and congrats.

Pay Question: (and if anyone has the contract, please PM to share (if you can))
What is minimum daily guarantee? (Example: So I do a two day trip, where the first day I fly just one hour and the second day I fly 5 hours, Would I get min daily guarantee pay for day one and 5 hours of pay for day 2.)
Pay for deadheads?
Pay for training?
Pay for holidays?
Pay for reserve? (EXAMPLE: Say I sit reserve for 3 days in a row. Do I get paid for any of those days? If not, how does it fall under min monthly guarantee? Is each day counted as a certain number of hours?)
Cancellation Pay?: I haven't gotten a good answer on this at all. If I am scheduled for 80 hours in a month and several flights cancel, at the end of the month am I paid for those 80 hours scheduled or does it bleed off until I hit min guarantee of 75?
Pay for SAP?: (EXAMPLE: I get a bid of 80 hours but SAP down to 65. Do I get paid min guarantee of 75 or do I get paid 65? (assuming I fly all 65; reference question above about cancellation pay))
Thanks!! I hope these questions will be useful to everyone!
