My buddy at PSA said the new rates were not approved for ya'll yet either, what's that all bout? He says they should be approved soon.
Go to envoy or endeavor. Don't even look at PSA. See my DM

I would still avoid PSA, even with potential improvements.

whatever major you want to fly for, don’t go to their regional. It takes way too long to get through training and to get a line at PSA. Avoid it. You can flow in 4-5 years at piedmont btw

Feels like just yesterday that everyone was saying to avoid Piedmont at all costs

Oh how the turn tables. Debating if I should give PSA a few weeks to catch up, or call Piedmont to see if I can get my class date back haha.

After 2 years at Piedmont you will have 1000 121 SIC hours and be bidding upgrade. You will have been getting paid CA after 750 hours for four months.

After 2 years of sitting hot airport reserve at PSA you will have 250-300 hours and be looking forward to holding a line. And be another 6-9 months on the FO pay scale.

I do hear the QOL is great for the top 1/3rd at PSA. So you got that to look forward to in 6 years.

From the sounds of things our union has a similar deal with some extra caveats, I'd say we'll see what we're going to get or not by the end of next week or so.

Basically, Envoy and Piedmont received these offers with no strings attached. PSA’s is contingent on them agreeing to some things. Namely PBS. And PBS requires a pilot group vote. So there’s that little aspect of it.

I think it’s a crap deal. Flash a bunch of money. Pilots go oooooo ahhhhh. It’s very predictable. Meanwhile the extra coin only lasts for 2 years. Except now we have PBS with no SAP, no schedule flexibility, and less quality of life. Meanwhile Envoy and Piedmont gave up nothing.

And Piedmont is still getting a CRJ type apparently? I want some answers on that before voting on anything.

Piedmont and Envoy signed their deals which means if you want to go to an AA wholly owned you'll go anywhere but PSA. If PSA digs in their heels on this deal and says no then that will be the end of PSA.

I guarantee you they dropped rumors about Piedmont getting CRJ's on their certificate for a reason, I guarantee you they had Piedmont and Envoy sign there deals before PSA even heard of it for a reason.

At this point it's just a matter of trying to make the concessions as tolerable as possible.

I think you hit the nail on the head. Seems like they/we are up a creek and it may be time to kiss SAP goodbye.
