You don't need hiring bonuses. You need to make this place a good place to work at. I've spent all 3 overnights within 1 mile of the airport. With limited food options and things to do.
Start making this a better place to work at and you won't have a problem with retention and hiring new people. Hey, maybe try following the contract for a change too.
Hey management. You listening?
Didn't think so.

I find it very disheartening when I receive an email from PSA management, (V.P.Ops.) advising me that they have arranged a meeting for today in Herndon to discuss "the same incentives which were agreed to at Envoy earlier today",........ but I don't receive a notice from my union to advise me of the same.
Very disheartening. Very discouraging. Very concerning. Very disturbing.

You are upset because PSA pilots "gave up" 12/4, which they knew didn't matter. No pilots will be affected by 12/4 unless they choose to make their career at PSA (which shows that they have mental problems to be a lifer at a regional).
In return, PSA got a better contract, and knew that AAG would have to return to the table in a short amount of time to improve things anyways.
It seems like PSA MEC played this game pretty well, and you are jealous about it.
PSA got a good contract (that unfortunately isn't followed by management) and didn't have to give up anything of value to get it. AAG played Envoy, Envoy lost, are jealous, and they somehow still can't see it.

No. Those "a-holes" that voted in 12/4 in 2013 (different industry just three years ago) are the minority here. Not the same pilot group.

Yea, except the pilot group didn't vote on anything and wasent told anything. Are saying the entire union is made up of 2014 hires? Sounds like it's exactly the same crowd that the votes yes now thinks it isn't "fair" never seen a larger group of *****s.

Hell, they just had a call-in conference. Was any of this discussed and feedback solicited from the pilot group, as a whole? Maybe we should expect to learn more about our future pay from facebook.
Here's the language, directly from Envoy's ad: (with my emphasis added)
"Envoy will now offer up to $10,000 for **NEW HIRE** pilots who have Part 121 commercial air carrier experience. In return for a two-year commitment to Envoy,...."
