Comair updates?
Delta has Comair on an annual contract, compared to the multi-year contracts other DCI carriers get. So, if that date is correct, you're exactly right. However, they've had us flying like this for years. Anyway, this would only be a threat to the 500-ish pilots who are currently assuming Comair will stick around.
At this point Delta is under no obligation to Comair for shelter, college costs, or health care.
In other words, Delta owns Comair. They can close the doors tomorrow if they want.
100 Comair planes going to ASA... FAIL
All Comair 70s going away... FAIL
Comair gone in 2010... FAIL
ASA changing name to Atlantic Southeast... CORRECT
Yup, right on almost everything.

It wasn't about him not being right, it was his presentation of said information. I'm all for any information that could have been useful about Comair. A lot of good tidbits of infomation came from ASA folks. Some true..some not so true. They're HQ is a stones throw from widget central and they have a good network of people inside Delta HQ. How many former Comair employees are at Delta..maybe a few double digits if that. That's why our no one a Comair knows a dang thing about what's coming down the pike.
