What was he saying?

And what is wrong with listing 2 hours ahead of time? He probably got listed at the outstation before his last flight home...did it a few times when I was JFK based

p.s. Another pet peeve, he and the comair fo both did. Listed about 2 hours before the flight. REALLY? There is one flight a day from
Pdx to dtw. You didn't know you were going to be on it? I could have went to Seattle.
Sorry but what is wrong with listing 2 hours before the flight? I did that many times like when I was at home and knew I was going to try for that flight. Are you missing something here in your explanation Jesse? You have me baffled.

It sounds like you were talking about the jumpseat. With Delta's stupid policy about double listing for the front and the back I have never listed for the jumpseat in 10 years. As for his other issues, remember he was heading to work, most of us need to be heavily medicated just to want to go these days. I know it sucks when you loose a jumpseat but I commute from Seattle and it has been happening regularly since we opened DTW. Many times 15 min before departure. Your not alone.

I get it now...If he had listed, he could have known and gone to SEA to get back.

you're allowed to list up to 6 hours or as little as 5 min before. But what does it matter? You would have gone to PDX to find out he/they were listed to the jump seat. And even worse all the standby's cleared the list. what are you complaining about. Welcome to every OH pilots life trying to get from DTW to CVG. It's called commuting or traveling for fun, either way it's a risk. suck it up.

Sorry to hear that SPJ. Next time, just come visit in Dubai. You might want to wait a few months. Getting hot over here.

So I'm in CVG this week and took a drive by the GO building and saw it was deserted. I knew they were trying to sell the GO but I didn't realize it actually happened. Where did they move to? I was hoping to get a copy of my training records while I'm there.
