The only way you'd keep the flight benefits is if ALPA will negotiate Something. The company will no longer exist and you're no longer an employee or a retiree, I don't see why they'd let you keep them. If they negotiate something, it'll be for a month or two, unless Delta has a heart and let you keep them.

I have heard that All Comair pilots that paid into the "merger fund" will be getting their money refunded.
This is according to the Comair MEC, Eric Jenson, and was posted to the Comair ALPA website.
Former employees no longer have access to this site so I hope current employees can keep us all posted on here.
If I remember correctly, we all paid $240 into that garbage fund and some of it was spent putting a lawyer on retainer. Since about 1500 of us paid into it.... I can bet that about $5 or $10 per person was sunk into that retainer. We should all get at least $230 of it back.
I am pretty sure that despite the fact that the lawyer never did any actual work, the retainer is lost. Too bad considering that we all knew that this merger fund was not needed and no merger was even being discussed. I guess as always... the lawyers win.
This refund is no small amount of money. Someone who runs into Jenson, ask when the checks will be mailed out and if people who are no longer at Comair need to update addresses etc.

FG, a couple days ago I went to ALPA's website and sent of an email through their contact us link. Told them I was no longer an ALPA member and wanted to make sure they had my correct address. I got a reply today that it was updated so give that a try.
