Crapweasels! They were out of 70/90 reserves today. I hope they got the shaft because of it.

The 9 memory items are just common sense stuff, no procedures (I guess I should be careful about saying common sense, since it seems that us Comair pilots have a lacking of that at times).
Lost AC power? Pull the ADG
Smoke? Put on your mask
Takeoff config warn? Don't takeoff (notice it doesn't say "put your flaps down sometime before reaching VR")

Anyone looking for the preferential hiring at Mesaba might be looking at SAAB 340s in ATL. Looks like Delta plans to replace the ATR72s with Mesaaba 340s. The article released on the other thread also says that the number of regional gets to be shed will be a number north of the 70 something they previously announced once the merge takes place.

I wonder how that will affect Comair. Is it a positive or a negative after the merger?

I was looking at the reserve report at JFK, and some of the guys are projected to fly 67 to 70 hours this month. That is not being on reserve. I do not understand why the company does not build more lines to cover all that flying.
