Me! Me! Pick Me!
As I see it, you got to be a millionaire going in to be able to afford better than Alpo as a Regional airline pilot.

Apparently for SIM yes. From what we are being told could be a month but could be longer or shorter.

Default Questions...

Ill be getting back into the regional world after being gone for about 2 years. I live in fort myers so i will have to commute no matter where i go. I was with PSA for 1.5 years and got about 950 crj sic time. Im ar about 3000TT right now with about 800 being helo turbine pic. In my mind, i figured my best options as far as regionals would be PDT or Endeavor. The starting pay with bonuses are about the same... commute to lga or phl wouldnt make a difference... but i think pdt may offer a quicker upgrade. Advantage of endeavor would be flying the crj that im ffamiliar with and the fact that they overnight in fort myres which may offer me more time at home. Now, im 37 with a family so oving for a regional is out of the question. I will have to commute. I tried my hand at allegiant because they have a base 25 minutes from home and the dy trips are appealing, but got the tbnt email the day after i applied. So, for those currently at pdt... any advice?

Upgrade timespecially at PDT and Endeavor are both relatively quick if you have the time and the pay is pretty close as well. The only major difference is crj vs erj, which to me the ERJ family of aircraft are a lot better. In addition PDT gives a no interview flow in about 4-5 years vs Endeavor which you have to be a captain for 2 years just to get an interview with Big D.From what I've heard a lot of people are getting the tbnt from big d.In addition, I think you can only interview in seniority number and you have to upgrade and be in good standing for 2years.With the almighty flow, you don't have to upgrade and still be eligible to flow. Both places are good places to work and I have heard Endeavor will open up an Atlanta base next year,so that's more food for thought since you live in FL. PDT will open up another base somewhere, who knows where it will be though.

Default Bonus

Can anyone advise on how pdt pays out their bonuses? They are offering a 20000 dollar retention bonus and on the hiring page it said something about a sign on bonus of 16200 dollars.... wht exactly are they paying and how do they pay it out? Thanks to all!
