Key Features and Changes:
- Effective upon signing, implement a seniority-based flow up procedure to American/US Airways with a minimum flow of 36 PDT pilots per year. No interview is required, nor are PDT pilots required to have a college degree.
- Establish new minimum fleet size of at least 20 aircraft for a ten-year period to ensure adequate flying for PDT pilots who decline to flow up to mainline.
- Establish new jet rates for 37-44, 45-59 and 60-76 seat aircraft.
- Unless EMB-175 aircraft come to PDT, Dash 8 pay continues to use a 25-year longevity scale with annual increases for the life of the agreement. The Dash 8-300 end rate is $97.18 per hour. The Dash 8-100 end rate is 85.80 per hour.
- If EMB-175 aircraft come to PDT, Captains and First Officers on the EMB-175 and Dash 8 will be capped at 12 and 4 years longevity, respectively, along with the same longevity caps on smaller jets, but pilots above the new maximum longevity scales will be "grandfathered" and remain at their actual longevity pay rate. All pay rates will continue to increase annually for the life of the agreement.
- After jet aircraft are placed in revenue service, daily vacation pay will be 4.2 hours.
- After jet aircraft are placed in revenue service, pilots will start to accrue sick leave at 3.5 hours a month.
- After jet aircraft are placed in revenue service, a Captain (F/O) who completes training in a new Category, won't be awarded another Category for a period of 12 months (24 months for F/O) unless displaced (or permits Captain upgrade for F/O).
- After the 4th jet aircraft is placed in revenue service, pilot contributions for medical coverage will increase. The first year after placement of the 4th aircraft the contribution will be 18% of the premium cost; the second year after placement of the 4th aircraft will be 23%; the third year will be 28%; the fourth year will be 33%; and the sixth year will be 35%.
- Provide different Association options to re-open new agreement over its 10-year duration including, 2018 and 2021 negotiation and private mediation periods.
- American Airlines Group (AAG), American Airlines (AA) and US Airways, Inc. will all sign the Career Opportunities (flow-up) and Aircraft Commitments Letters of Agreement to ensure that they are contractually bound and subject to an arbitration award.

As tempting as it is Ladies and Gentlemen of Piedmont, DO NOT THINK for one second THAT IF YOU VOTE THIS DOWN YOU WILL BE OUT OF A JOB. Let me say that one more time, VOTING NO WILL NOT AFFECT YOUR JOB STATUS!!!! Envoy voted no and they're still here...and will continue to be here as AAG WILL approach them again as they have done now TWICE since they voted no. Management at RAH is engaging their pilots once again and here at ExpressJet, we're STILL HERE...actively negotiating with management.
Pilots of Piedmont...you are not replaceable overnight, and you are NOT disgardable trash in the eyes of AAG, you are PROFESSIONAL PILOTS who entered this industry to have a CAREER, not a menial job to pass the time with. If you vote no, AAG WILL come back with a better offer, it might not be that much better, but better nonetheless, THINK before you vote, LOOK AROUND at your peers and realize we are all still here, voting YES equals selling out for a SUB PAR deal, voting NO tells them that it needs to improve. As everyone has said...the eyes of the industry are focused on you!!!

Guarantee everything will be as written except the e175's.
you will get jets, depending on how low ball your pay rates will be you most likely will get the parked e-140's from envoy, they qualify as jets and everywhere in the bullets points mentioning jets and not e175 will come true except the e175's.
plan accordingly, you know parker better, we have just found out about him and he has found out about us.

Kinda of funny how Envoy is worried about us. They weren't worried when they wanting every EMB 175 on THEIR property. What? Were you guys gonna tell Parker to send 20 over to Piedmont from the kindness of your heart?

When you realize that, doesn't matter if you fly a 172 or a 747, what's matter is your QOL and pay.
Because at the end of the day, it's just a work. Why give away something like HEALTH INSURANCE!!! I didn't know you guys just pay around 15%, that's super cheap.
Remember...health insurance goes up every year and you guys will pay that increase + 20% more! That's just crazy...
But hey, do whatever you guys want . Like someone said, the whole industry is watching. The PSA guys are marked, even if nobody says nothing, everyone talks behind their backs. They will let them ride the JS, they will be polite to them, but people know what they did.
I went to the United FFD, and did not saw any PSA or MESA guy there, at least the day I was there. Coincidence?? I don't know.
All I say is that we at Envoy would help PDT if there's a merger if you guys hold the line. What 350 guys would do to our seniority list? Not that much.
Now, if you bring concessions to us, after we stand 3 times saying NO, then it will be a long battle. That's what Parker want, that's what he's planning. We are just the practice for his biggest fight...AA/USAir integration.
Don't fall for someone making $57,000 a day.

If it wasn't the the planes why did you demand more be placed at Envoy? It's about the planes also. Believe me we aren't
running around excited about this. But we don't have any resources and it ain't like anyone wants to start over at another regional.
It sucks and I actually blame ALPA national. That's where our anger should be! There suppose to be responsible for unity. Right?

Looking at the contract I have 2 big problems. 1 selling the FO Coming in the following years short by capping pay at 4 years. I know the cap in reality does not matter but how much you are getting paid and I know it is between 36-38 at 4 years and that is low. 2. 10 year contracts don't make sense why so long. Lots of things can change including the economics of aviation. I know people always stress the bad but what if things become good should we not deserve more compensation for helping the company grow a little sooner. I do want to stress though that in the end it is The PDT choice in what they want to do. Good luck guys.

We dont care about the airplanes, we care about the paycheck.
When you realize that, doesn't matter if you fly a 172 or a 747, what's matter is your QOL and pay.
Because at the end of the day, it's just a work. Why give away something like HEALTH INSURANCE!!! I didn't know you guys just pay around 15%, that's super cheap.
Remember...health insurance goes up every year and you guys will pay that increase + 20% more! That's just crazy...
But hey, do whatever you guys want . Like someone said, the whole industry is watching. The PSA guys are marked, even if nobody says nothing, everyone talks behind their backs. They will let them ride the JS, they will be polite to them, but people know what they did.

If everyone is moving on to the majors anyway than why is everyone so worried about being capped at 95 per hour? That's not even high as our current 25 year pay rate goes and now you're there at 12 and you should be at a major long before that. Even our senior pilots are for this deal and getting capped, our 25 year pay rate right now isn't that high now you're there at 12 but hopefully gone long before that, screw the regionals get your time and get out unless you have multiple duis you can do it. I'm not for this deal cause I don't like the flow, but the pay caps don't bother me that much even if the world crashes I can live on 95 per hour with our contract till I can move on. Don't forget we fly props now not jets this is a pay raise, if we flew jets right now this would be a weak deal but why turn down a pay raise
