Exactly. Why would Parker spend that much time taking Envoy behind the tool shed?

I'd be confident that your flow will work as planned, just as envoys will. But don't sit there and tell me that PDT has an iron clad flow that can't and won't be violated, while envoys can.
While I think we have a very solid agreement here at pdt , I totally agree with you that it's not untouchable. At the end of the day, they're in control of AAG and their wholly owns. With that being said, flows are working as advertised so far and hope this continues for everybody.
If aag wants to keep psa, pdt, and envoy properly staffed, it's in their best interest to have this flow working. Just my opinion.

Agreed. Try getting PDTpilot or billyho to admit that though. The epitome of a bad used car salesman is sticking to your guns even when being called out as being wrong. Cudos to you, at least some at your company have the balls to speak truthfully.

So with someone new to the game, how does a flow actually work. Is it only based on seniority. I still have 2 years Navy left, but any info would be greatly appreciated.

its straight seniority, everyone sets their preference and when they close a 'bid' the look at the list, and they take the top however many 'yes' selections they want.

I sat back and bought about it. I concede to you sublime, that ANY deal can be willfully violated by anyone at anytime even with the language and the letter on their side. Waiting for a court and an arbitrator to side with you hurts everyone.

Here and now, I am officially changing my iron clad statement to "as iron clad as can possibly be made."

My point which I distracted everyone from, was that unlike psa the PDT flow cannot be reduced or halted for any reason. When I have a chance tonight I will go back and read the ENY letter again but I believe they can be reduced and have been the last couple months.

My bad ya'll, I was being a d!ck.

No, you're okay. I just don't believe in these contracts ANYMORE. Seems like the company will find a way around it or flat out violate it and make it go to arbitration where it takes even longer to sort out and in the mean time the company continues to violate the contract. So I say f@@@ it all.

Nope, ENY is 50% of each class and may be witheld to 20 if certain conditions are met. After the E175 arrives, the 20 changes to 30. It's all still subject to 50% of the new hires in class though, and since AA doesn't seem to run classes over 40 (yet) then 50% is 20 in the class. That's the short version. There are other groups that carry over different things with them as well. All will carry company time for purposes of AA travel benefits towards retirement requirements.
They are supposed to send more when able also.

That said, currently this year AAG shows on their charts that Envoy pilots have been 68% of all the new hires at AA this year. Between ENY, PDT & PSA well over 70% of all AA hiring comes from their regionals.

Didn't you all flow 18 last month and zero the month before? Was there a class of 36?

Anyways, glad we're all going to end up controlling virtually all regional to AA hiring in the next couple of years. With PDT's and PSA's growth the three of us will control aprox 80%
