Remember, the integration must attempt to be fair and equitable for all parties involved. Having the 1% CJC pilot move to 63% is not equitable (although some may believe it's fair). Let's not try and repeat American/TWA and let's definitely not end up like USAIR east vs west when this all done. Pncl pilots are my brothers and sisters and unity is the only strength we have.

I can deny it. I don't really think anyone puts aircraft type as their number one factor when making career decisions. I would fly a C150 if it paid more or gave me a better schedule. The 200 pays slightly more, but there are also many more people who want to fly it because it is a jet. I would rather make a little less and have a better schedule on the Q even if it is just a turboprop.

Why do I have a feeling that you have CRJ200 Driver tattoo?

Mesaba would be equal if they weren't losing their saabs, thus all mesaba brings is furloughs.

This is just my 2 cents from an outsider.

How long have you been in the 121 world?

So your saying Colgan is a stepping stone towards Pinnacle and Mesaba?? We come here to then go to another regional??
If that is what your implying you are a joke!

When I was in indoc back in Nov 07, our management assured us we were not going to be bought by Pinnacle. Couple months later boom, we were bought. Yes Qs were purchased with help from Pinnacle, and my guess why they came to Colgan is because the low operating costs. So had we then had operating costs like Pinnacle, doubt we would have recieved the Qs and there would be no growth.

Okay, I'll admit it. They are so shinny and chicks dig 'em.

Keep your jets. Leave me my lowly Saab, and my 25 flight hour per month line.

Does that rationalizing help you sleep at night?

You guys were going to be an alterego airline. You were non-union, and PT had it in his head that the Q was the future. He wanted another Gojets.

Luckily, for yours and our sakes, you unionized before Trenary's master plan of whipsaw could be implemented. That and the Q never found a market beyond CO.

Your entire growth was backed in full by the revenue from Pinnacle Airlines. And we didn't ask anything from you. We congratulated you and our guys helped organize you into the ALPA fold as brothers.

In conclusion, your costs had nothing to do with it. You were GoJet II, before we extinguished that fire.

So you think nobody else will ever want the Q to fly for another airline otherthan that of CO?

Oh and about your other post about us "wanting the crj, you guys cant deny it"

you can keep the crj, I will stay here at my base 10 min from my house. Thanks!

This is so much fun. I hope we have another merger soon in our future. Maybe Skywest will buy us!

Will we get to read the full proposals the groups submitted?

Yes I understand that Pinnacle had much to do with our success as an airline and not keeping us from folding, supplying us with financial backing. I thank pinnacle for helping. My first post was to that person stating Colgan brought nothing to table is just insane. The fact that we are a stepping stone to another regional and because he felt we were nothing implies he thinks we should be stapled. My post was not attacking Pinnalce.
