I am a proponent of healthy and rational debate and I'm not one to live and die by what I read on these boards. However, unfortunately your "opinions" serve as a representative image of Colgan FO's to other pilots that read them. This is a representation which I do not wish to align myself or my fellow pilots with.

Look at my statements you posted...I never made this argument. Period. My position was IF Airtran got stapled. There was nothing to rationalize. Give it up...

It's all relative, and has nothing to do with how much less regionals pay than mainline. It's not ok to staple United to Continental because both airlines are paid mainline wages.

My original point is that you have no clue whatsoever about how the industry works and instead of attempting to educate yourself or help make things better at Colgan, you instead sit your computer desk and rant on internet forums, all the while only keeping one thing in mind, what's best for you, no matter what the situation.
Again...where does this idea that it's OK to staple come from? I never advocated it. I stand by my previous statement...IF AirTran got stapled, they'd still be in a great position financially. Either you agree, or you don't. Simple as that. Can we let the thread move on?

1700 on Friday, that would be last minute and may very well be the case.

We find it's always better to fire people on a Friday. Studies have statistically shown that there's less chance of an incident if you do it at the end of the week.

I was thinking the same thing. Something along the lines of this...

"Here's your list, hope you like it. Gotta go, catching a flight to West Palm for the week."
