Who really cares. We have plenty of diversity at AirWis. I'm one of the many gay crew members we have and it has never been an issue.

Can we go back to complaining about how we don't have iPads yet and start rumors as to how many aircraft we're parking?

I've heard as little as 4 up to as many as 13 airplanes. There's always the possibility of them being replaced with something else. Hopefully we can all land on our feet when 2018 rolls around....I'm running out of confidence.

lets not get our hopes up too high. the replacement aircraft are most likely sitting in kingman right now.

Who cares whether someone is gay or lesbian?
All that anyone should care about is can they do their job and do it well?
I've flown with gay pilots. Nobody ever tried anything on me and I didn't catch anything sitting next to them.
Whether or not a pilot or FA is gay or lesbian shouldn't matter.
This industry is highly diverse. If one has a problem with it, then one needs to find another line of work
Now count to three and at the count of three, this rant will be officially over.

The longer there is no news then more likely people will soon start jumping ship as 2018 approaches. We saw this at Piedmont and it was to the point that Captains were flying with Captains all over the place.

Good luck to everyone over there.

Well fortunately we can't have dual Captain crews.

Same thing could be said for when everyone thought the doors would close in 2015. I think there's a different dynamic this time around though that might lead to heavy attrition. Many other regionals are upgrading guys once they get their 1,000 SIC, and you're seeing more and more operators creating DEC programs. That could cause havoc at Awac.

I personally don't mind or care if people aren't coming to Awac. If they can't hire or attract pilots one would think naturally the pay would have to increase.

as far as iPads, I doubt anything will happen. RG was the driving force with that, now he's at Alaska I doubt we will get anything.
Haven't heard any number of planes leaving, I think 431-434 are the oldest then 401-404.

Your inference is clear...and it's quite ignorant. Does it matter what the sex of the person or persons is in this hypothetical situation was?

And if there was this so called reputation, again, who cares? Why is it considered "reputation?" If people don't want to come to AWAC because of what you suggest...then it's better that they don't.

We prefer a positive environment (I'm sure the hiring committee and HR would likely agree) where people don't have hangups...if they can't deal, it gets in the way of them safely doing their jobs....since we are talking about how to successfully interview.

If AWAC has a 'reputation' of having gay (male of female) pilots, then I am really damn proud of it.
