Come on Tiller, is it really just *outside* forces that are your problem?

all you gotta do like you told them is "just vote no" amirite?????? Simple. Especially since you aren't in bankruptcy, unlike Pinnacle.

Don't forget that our wonderful union is also trying to switch us all to a mandatory leather jacket from the current blazer + overcoat. Yes, it's wonderful. And you can totally use $400-500 of your bonus to buy your own jacket if you're a new hire. If you're a current pilot just use your own money.

God bless,

BB

You would probably have to choose between DEN as an FO or somewhere else as a Captain. You might as well consider DEN impossible to get.

How long could one expect to be on RSV in LGA on the Shuttle side? Anyone know what its like being based (and living) there?

Looks like for December 2013 the junior lineholder is a July 2013 hire... He/she probably hit the line sometime in October...so 2 months reserve maybe 3…

As far as living in base it can be pretty great due to the trips out of LGA. Company feeds the outstations in IND and CMH with what would be LGA overnights. As a result LGA tends to have >50% of the total trips as day trips. For December 2013 57% of the pairings were day trips with only 5% being 4 day trips. A lot of uncommutable trips. Really the only way LGA is worth it is if you can manage living in NYC or surrounding area on $700 of income every two weeks after taxes on first year pay.
