S5 was a soulless and boring place compared to RP. RIP Chautauqua.

Doesn't Republic actually have to be awarded more flying from AA before those options can be exercised?
Mr. Bedford is a smart man. He is lying in the wait as mesa fumbles their 170 operation and we'll be there to pick up the pieces. By then we'll have a kick a$$ cba and staffing won't even be a flicker of a thought. Then, as karma said, the cseries is next on our plate.Originally Posted by morerightrudder

Why don't you make the world a little better for yourself and much better for those who have to fly with you. Turn in your badge today. Nobody wants to be around incessant whiners. It's a bad quality. I'm sorry you didn't have parents or other role models to impart that lesson. If you're so miserable just go away. Otherwise, quit snivelling, get a better attitude, and work hard to move along in this profession. Another leason you seem to have missed out on is that for most, nothing of value comes without patience and hard work. Good luck to you.Originally Posted by magnus0322
Shhh. Don't try to reason with Loon and Karma they love drinking that BB love juice. RAH has options for 50 more aircraft but they can't even staff what they have now, I doubt they exercise those options, despite what BB says. This company is terrible. I'm glad we are parking airplanes because that means less pilots have to suffer here.

Mesa will be fine, it isn't rocket science. Plus it is only a 12 month training agreement with Mesa vs 24 months with RAH. Single occupancy hotel and min guarantee paid in training. Nothing more unprofessional than bunking with a roomy in a professional job. Still a dump IMO.Originally Posted by Loon

RAH will be stagnant now with the gradual draw down of Chautauqua.
As far a the cseries, good luck with that. I am sure you are salivating at the thought of flying that thing around while undercutting main line pay rates. At least that is BB's wet dream. BB will take the options for the additional 175's and sell them and laugh all the way to the bank before he steps down.
Staffing is so bad at RAH, they have to send a 190 to Oshkosh to do pilot recruiting. Lure the uniformed in with a big shiny jet.

I would put money on Republic being the first piece of the regional model to crumble. They are now stuck in the same death spiral as 9E without any leverage to attract new blood.Originally Posted by 170Homie

The problem with Republic is they have to compete with the cost structure of wholly owned regional carriers. I don't know how they do this long term without going out of business.Originally Posted by Nantonaku

With the fo pay structure and the turn-around of employment at RAH, cost structure won't be an issue. The fo pay will always be the area where BB gets his cost savings. Relatively, there are few lifers at RAH.Originally Posted by tom11011

I'm far from miserable. Most of the CAs I fly with like flying with me. The only ones that don't are CAs like Loon because I will call them out when they skirt around SOP or go out of the way to move the metal for BB.Originally Posted by thevagabond

I come on here to educate others of the terrible place that Republic Airways Holdings is. It is not whining. If you don't believe RAH is the worst, you are delusional. The morale here is at an all time low. Staffing is so bad they have CAs flying as FOs, and even then flights are cancelled every single day due to lack of crew.
I am taking a stand for the profession. So did 85% of my fellow pilots. Only 15% of the RAH pilot group is stupid enough to want to undercut everyone in order to help BB and this terrible company grow. Flying C Series at a regional would be a disaster for all our careers. How about you stop helping BB and fly the damn book?

You have to be ****ing kidding. Ok Gary. Or Matt. Or whoever the **** you are. You must be so ****ed the next TA will have the biggest gains for FOs. Otherwise this place will never attract new pilots, and RAH will fold. I'm glad 85% of us would rather see this place die than continue to keep our FOs under poverty wages.Originally Posted by Loon
