OK..... I got the email for the online assessment, and would welcome help from anyone that has been through it as to subjects covered, recommended study material, etc. Basically, any and all help would be appreciated before I take this test. The email indicates that I have a few weeks to do it, but I want to take it sooner, than later.
I come from the domestic 135 world, and the assessment has a global slant to it I am told.

You are correct. It is only paid as part of guarantee. Another thing to get changed in the next contract. It should cover whatever CRT or block hrs you lose due to the overlap, but it doesn't.

Im sorry, I have to ask if this is true... they are suspending interviews till next year.
If this is true when will they start the process again?

I took it a month ago hadn't changed a whole lot from previous gouge in this thread at that point.

So I was invited and took the test in September after submitting my resume during the summer. I haven't heard anything back since, but do know that I passed the test with a decent score.

At what point should someone in this position consider myself out of the running, and resubmit my resume to be considered for a future round of hiring?

After a year was the old standard. Not unusual for interviews/classes to taper off at the end of the year, expect it to pick back up in January. Worth an email to HR just to remind them about you.

I don't know the interview schedule but every December the training center in Miami (that's where the interviews are held) ratchets down. Two reasons: The weeks around Christmas are quiet for training and a lot of the people are out flying. December is a busy month with our usual flying as well as the UPS and FedEx contracts we pick up. I don't know if interviews are on hold in December or not but if they are it will take off again like gangbusters after the first of the year, I'm certain.

Do a search of this thread to find the info you are looking for. International ops and weather are big and there are resources that are quoted here that will help you out. I'd tell you, but I don't want to misquote or omit any reference material as it has been a while since I used it.
