Perhaps a very different fleet plan might be in the works.

Quote: Highly recommend La Quinta.. Clean, friendly, and an easy 6 minute walk to the G.O. front gate on YOUR schedule, no shuttle to worry about.

Best I could get there was north of $100.

Just a quick question, currently a regional FO and had someone submit my app directly to the hiring team about 9 months ago. I got the dreaded "fix it" email and am basically waiting to have it resubmitted at the 12 month mark. In the mean time am I still able to have people submit letters of rec on airlineapps?

Agree 100%. Delta Premium Pay system helps the operation as Greenslips are very lucrative compensation for helping the company save the operation. When staffing gets even more critical than it was this summer, mass GSWCs lead to some eye-popping W2s once in a while (717B, 350A). Overall I think Delta's premium pay system is a significant contributor to Delta's success because it's a win for all parties. The Company completed the flight, the pilots are paid lucratively for their efforts, and the customer gets to their destination with less delays.

JMHO but I think next summer will be much easier due to no last minute extra flying due to MAX grounding, no JFK runway construction, and we'll be adequately staffed. Time will tell

There’ll be something else that happens next summer.

Will we be adequately staffed? With the scheduled age 65 retirements as well as earlies added on to those who have retired in the last few months, I’m not sure we will have more pilots for next summer or less. Hopefully more if they actually do hire closer to 1500 for the year........but it’s only about 9 months to next summer....
