Quote: Lori Clark or Emerald Coast are just fine. I did EC and felt more than prepared. I was airlines in 2004-2006 and went 135/91 for 11 years. I personally did the EC course and was more than happy with how I felt for the interview. As they say, each group is going to get different scenarios. The SBI is tough to prep for and the EC course, Winning at CRM, was priceless when it came to that. If/when you get an interview, relax. They want to know who you are. Leave your cell phone in the hotel or your suitcase. Interact with everyone you see. Most of all, enjoy the process. By far the best group of people I've worked with. I sat reserve the month of June and have had relief lines since. I came back to the airlines like you'd go back to a cheating girlfriend. So far, very happy. I left Corporate for this and won't look back. Good luck to everyone.

Lori Clark
Lori Clark in my opinion does the best interview prep for Frontier Airlines.

Everyone that got hired the day I interviewed used Lori Clark.

Does anyone know what the mins are at the moment. I know what the preferred mind are but are these actually what guys are getting hired at? Is it more/less? Any info would be appreciated!

The mins haven't changed in years... if you meet them, they'll interview you... if you do a good job, they'll hire you...

The SBI is basically the same for everyone... you're flying along, something goes wrong, you make a decision... if you use your resources, stay relaxed and come to a logical conclusion, you did your job... by the time mine was over, a drunk guy was fighting a flight attendant, a service dog was biting another flight attendant and another guy was trying to break into the flight deck... what would you do in an airplane? Do that!

And an added item... if you screw something up or make a bad choice, you get to explain your thought process in the debrief... that is just as important as the SBI itself

They are preferred mins but not often do they wave them.

I'm guessing if you have 2400 hours of which 2000 are Airbus time (maybe your one of those guys who got hired at 250 hours at Spirit or flew ab-initio in Europe they wave it). Just using an example here but I could see how preffered would apply there.

Also, I know at least one guy got hired without the 500 pic but had 5 type ratings and was currently flying 121 on a heavy. Again, both don't happen often.

Jumping from Spirit to Frontier seems like the equivalent of switching from PBR to Natty. Both are cheap, leave a terrible taste in your mouth, and result in you wondering what the hell happened.
