If this is fact its good news. I remember the company soliciting pilots to help with the interview process with no compensation. And yes we had plenty of volunteers!

Or anything for that matter.
If the pool dries up, I can count on speaking to a F9 recruiter at Aerocrew for free!

Yes, they do.
Had 3 aviation jobs; none has ever asked to see a logbook.
I keep them, just a little behind right now.

You must be a corporate guy? Usually a completely different interview process.
I had a corporate interview at a casino bar in Las Vegas once.

Every 121 job - even regionals take a pretty thorough look at your logs. Some airlines will pick a random log page and add the Columns and see if your math is correct.

My question to you would be, would you rather have management only people selecting our candidates or having our pilots being a part of the process in hiring?

Yes, they do.
I'm sure plenty of airlines do not verify logbooks in the interview. I was hired by Atlas and they did not look at logbooks whatsoever. In fact, they specifically stated that's it's not required to bring to the interview.

Currently trying to get an interview with F9 in the meantime, but I'm starting to realize it may not be for me.

I am glad we have people doing it. As a matter of fact, I complemented them a few posts later. So don't jump to conclusions.

Nor was I implying that they shouldn't do it. I'm just surprised people are willing to do anything above and beyond theses days.

You're hired at Atlas but would prefer to be at Frontier? May I ask why? I'm assuming the long periods of time away from home?

Not jumping to conclusions. Just asked you a question.
