Quote: You take a forward looking projection out of context for what? To try to make what point?

You are a troll.
Pure baloney, just like your sales pitch. Too many "projections" in your fantasy world. The point was you shouldn't be talking about jumpseat control at an airline you don't even work for.

Why not? You see no problem pontificating about an airline you don't work for?
He made a crystal ball statement, he got a crystal ball answer. Are you this obtuse in real life or just here behind you anonymous name?

Quote: True they are not, but...

About 1200 to 1500 pilots above them are.
You just summarized the reason a new hire would avoid envoy if flow was on their mind. They will never see it. Like I said earlier today, its a great deal for pilots on the property, but a bad deal for new hires. I'll rest my case on the matter, you basically summarized it.

Quote: No, they'll give the planes to you and we'll save the jumpseat on the 73 for you to commute to your 20 year interview.

Reality is that will never happen. Their 6 year flow and other things they'll do will keep envoy well staffed as the FFD industry contracts. However, we have no minimum staff requirement and only a 40 hull mandate so in the worst case we could do exactly that... Let you guys staff the regional planes while we flow to AA. The 40 hull minimum would allow our senior guys to retire here while everybody else goes.

Any way you dice it, going to Envoy now is a smart choice.
uh hu. sure it is.

But they would be better off at PSA with a 20 year flow, but with your logic as to why Eagle flow won't work, I guess I could throw that back at PSAs SSP and say the same thing. After all, if we can't hire, you can't hire.

Obtuse ?

You're too funny........not. I'm sure you'll be a hoot when you get here (provided you make it through training). I worked there for a quarter century while you were still washing police cars and just because I left doesn't mean I can't call B.S. when I see it. You're on this forum for one reason now mason and that's for peddling dreams to the gullible and have become so intoxicated on yourself and your multiple personas, you are now "projecting" what you'll do to others once you get to AA.

I can't wait to see your jumpseat decisions once you get here and I'm sure the captains you might fly with will be just as amused. That IS what you said you'd do, yes ?

......or were you just being obtuse ?

Exactly...

Don't go to Envoy, go to PSA...you won't upgrade unless you have 1,000 p121 and neither won't flow!

Look man, I've been reading your crap for years on this forum, and under your other screen names on the other forums. You can be pretty entertaining, and hilarious at times. But lately, you're actually starting to embarrass yourself with all the obsession with Eagle. Hours and hours of posting and thousands of posts running down envoy, predicting bad things for envoy, and trying to discourage anyone from working here. If I were you, I'd just relax and enjoy your life at AA. You seem proud to work there, and that's good. Sure, pop in here now and again and entertain us with some of your funny metaphors and humorous ramblings, but for God sakes, take it down a notch.

Why does it bother you so much to let the envoy guys have some optimism or hope that things might be improving? What's wrong with Cujo talking up the future here? The guys at the other regionals do it. I used to disagree with you a lot, but respected your opinions as a long time eagle pilot. Now it's just getting sad.
