Quote: That's what the recruiter told us during our pipeline program and it was also mentioned again at the job interview that everything was in motion for it to happen. Not to mention the numerous instances of it being mentioned on this site. I assume that you can get off the CRJ and move to other equipment and still upgrade as soon as it is available?

The flow was also mentioned during the interview that as new 175's come online, it will allow more Captains to flow to AA and create the spots for all of the upgrades. Regardless, I think Envoy is a solid and stable company and I'm really looking forward to getting started!
Uh huh.....and how do you plan on getting the 1000hrs air carrier time requirement to upgrade by sitting on reserve for 2 years? Assuming you instructed to hit the magic 1500 and you have no 121 time. Or did the recruiter neglect to mention that.

Not in this instance, me thinks. My money is on him being a non-ENY troll.

People are used to trolls around here being smug jack holes. It's hard to figure out what to do with a troll that says nice things.

You gotta go easy on the kid if he is REALLY an Envoy newbie straight from the College CFI flight line (but I have my suspicions elsewhere). The level of intoxication at that stage is enormous and if they told him he'd start crapping vanilla ice cream on the fist day of class, he'd be rushing his first dump of that day just so he can check the bowl. We've all been there. "Some" captain I'm sure told him a fine story as the job of those captains (among other things) is to pump up the newbie not just to want to stay, but pass the training and yes, any post remotely not in the best interest of the usual suspects will result in them getting out their well worn "troll" stamps which they use rampantly whether it truly applies or not. Remember, THESE batch of characters are either part of a specific anti-labor group tasked with psy ops or simply line pilots terminally afflicted with a combination of battered wife and Stockholm syndromes.

At any rate, so far the only info from Envoy management about a month old is that 205 pilots are projected to upgrade in 2016 (about 2100 pilots total), although some are saying 250, but I haven't seen that official increase. The flow number last thrown out was 250-300 for 2016 and so far, I have yet to see any concrete info otherwise other then a few intoxicated Envoy pilots embellishing numbers for whatever reason. Of course, if someone has official info from the company revising these numbers, that should be made available for prospective and active pilots to use to evaluate their options. It must be noted that monthly flow numbers (actual transfer) can and probably will vary significantly JUST as they did in 2015, so that the planned number of 250-300 ultimately go. It is also noteworthy that the flow concept can and likely will be different for the 824 group (about 400 left) and those after that, so the flow will likely be more aggressive to get the remaining lucky 400 out and then there are several scenarios that play into an overall tempering of the flow rate. I think the 824 and all future flows after that are a byproduct of two different equations for AAG. As for Envoy hires, their pipeline program(s) spits more pilots out from those sources at end of semester periods and thus June, September and January will se the highest draws there. Envoy has had the same parade as now for many months and their indoc numbers have been quite small since the last burst in very early fall and are apt to return to that past January.

Finally, it is interesting to note Envoy STILL doesn't have any flying allocation plan from AAG and that is now 6-8 weeks overdue. If they have, I've missed its dissemination. Despite this latest rash of sales from some, the situation at Envoy is fluid and not much different then 4 weeks or 3 months ago. I realize these comments will result in howling cries to the heavens from the usual sources, but that is to be expected like death and taxes.
