i think that once you are done with LOE you are off training pay and onto 75:36 monthly reserve guarantee
pay. I’d highly recommend you doing observation flight while waiting.

It's probably a combination of both - a lot of new hires and the CA upgrades getting priority now for obvious reasons. The backlog of new hires waiting for IOE is part of the reason they slowed/reduced class sizes until they can get healthy on LCA again and get the wait times down. Two of my classmates went back to SLC for LOE mid-February and they hotel was full of CA upgrades and LCA candidates. So far, I haven't heard anyone missing the consolidation in the required time. Hope that holds true.

My pay was adjusted to the guaranteed reserve that was mentioned above once I passed LOE, so that is good.

My plan is to start doing observation flights as much as possible once we finish our move closer to the assigned domicile. Don't want to get to rusty while waiting and there is only so much you can talk to yourself while pushing "buttons" on the wall poster.

Starting training next week. Is the cockpit wall poster provided to each person in training or is it an extracurricular that we need to buy if we want one in our hotel room or at home?

Everything you need will be provided on the first day of INDOC. You get cockpit poster, Ipad, homework book, and access to all the skywest online training materials.

We have a GoJet’er in our Spirit new hire class who said their training is so backed up everyone at GoJet is being forced through Consolidation after 120 days.

It could be worse.

So you’ve been lecturing SkyWest pilots about how great it is to work here and you haven’t even started INDOC?
