Well, you're already wrong. There have been fully autonomous planes for over a decade. Trains too, that people ride in every day. Can't say the same about cars or dental exams.

I hope you guys are right, but I see single pilot monitors or full automation with remote monitors in 20-30 years in cargo, then 10 years later in the airlines. I think the big hurdle is securing the wireless connections to them to prevent terrorism.

Or the Tesla that smacked into a Cirrus Vision Jet on the ramp (I think it was last week) after the owner did the "self-summon" from across the field and his car drove into the tail and turned it 90 degrees. Bet the insurance company will love that claim.

I agree that it'll be longer than 20 years for aviation. Autonomous anything still has a long way to go on the ground, let alone in aviation.

I understand to add a domestic partner you need proof you’ve been living together for at least 6 months. You usually have to present a couple of utility bills or similar with both your names on it

Default ERJ/CRJ class starts

Anyone have info on what class starts that are currently being offered on the ERJ vs CRJ?

I came on 6 months ago and at that point they were 3 months further out on the ERJ. I didn’t want to take the additional wait. Came through IOE a couple of weeks ago after 12 weeks wait.

August class dates on the ERJ right now. Can't speak for CRJ.

I start indoc at the beginning of June (ERJ), so I'm particularly interested in this. There hasn't been much talk of the current ERJ footprint, just a lot about the challenges on the CRJ side.

Hear they’ll be caught up with CRJ CA IOE by the end of June. Only 18 CRJ upgrades recently so that slows down thereafter. Good news FOs should then get cleaned up fast. Bad news is not enough new CA- for either platform (there were only 11 ERJ upgrades).
Moving a bunch of student FOs to ERJ means the pendulum is about to swing.

Current ERJ footprint is running pretty smooth. Maybe a week delay here or there but things are on track through LOE. IOE wait is around two weeks and the little breaks are actually nice as they give you time to rejuvenate from all of the hard work.

Thanks. That's what I've been looking for.

if the “1998” is an accurate birth year for you, you’ll have plenty of time to work and fly the next 40+ years of your life.
Yep, how quickly people forget!
