Regardless of whether it is growth or attrition, upward mobility is great at SKYW - at least as good as the next best regional out there and maybe even better.
At the end of the day I don't care why my relative seniority progresses at a rapid pace as long as it does. Hence, I can only recommend SKYW to any new hire.

Unless your American in which case your plan is to try and staff your regionals with subpar wages and have no aircraft on order as replacements for the 190s you're retiring. We'll see how this works out *rolls eyes.

Heard a rumor this morning that United is pulling out of a RJ purchase deal for Sky West. I have no details of how many planes it was, or any plan going forward. I guess we may hear more later this week but if there is any truth to it then that 15k pilot number is sounding more valid.
