Thinking about dropping in my application here soon and I have a few questions for all you OOers:
The (soon to be) wife and I have planned our honeymoon for early next year (January) and we'll be gone for about 10 days. First, how realistic is it that I could even get that time off? Second, how bad would it look in the interview if I told them about needing the time off? I don't wanna be the "what can you do for me" guy and I certainly don't want to ruffle any feathers.
Should I wait to apply?

I don't believe you can take any vacation in your first year. Someone could correct me if I'm wrong. And even if you had the hours, good luck using them if you haven't bid for time off in the master bid which will happen in November. (And you'd need to be qualified, online, and in the domicile you plan to stay in in order to get to bid. -- You lose your vacation slot when transferring.)

When I was on first year, twice crew support moved my reserve days around so I could attend weddings. Rare, but an option.
Depending how fast you get a class, getting out of sim before then could be a pinch.

$40 million profit. That's pretty good. I only listened to part of the earnings call.
