Gary Kelly isn’t that’s true. I think that if a widebody was going to come to Southwest, it would come via acquisition of another Airline already flying them. I’ll let you figure out which Airline that would most likely be.

You don’t suppose we’d pay to repaint those widebodies and send them to Delta while retaining their ****ed off pilots?

For the record that was asked in the crew lounge. I don’t know where that comes from. But AW does not support two different fleet types and that includes wide bodies! I think what he was saying that if you were going to have a second type such as a wide body you would need over 100 to justify it in our fleet. Which we do not have that many markets we serve that would justify that number. Anyone who thinks we will be getting a wide body here is kidding themselves. Just be content on what you fly and you will not get disappointed.

Flying with a check airman this week. He said he is being told the rest of the EXTOs won't be back until spring 2022 at the earliest, and that there was no hiring planned for the foreseeable future. Might be a few upgrades to balance the seats but that's about it.
