Funny, the CA's certainly didnt care when the FO's got hosed over the years with pay, but god forbid they dont get equal treatment. The Hypocrisy is rich.

Ok, I'm positive that a $20 bribe for legs over 4 hours will only end up applying to maybe 5-10% of our flying.


Just know that you lose credibility when you attack pilots who highlight how crappy the company offer is. That's why this place always gets industry lagging contracts.

Just like always. The yessies are admitting they are going to vote yes without even seeing the contract. And those getting hysterical about year 1-5 pay while discounting year 6-30 pay is another typical action of a select few on here. It's going to be a matter of seeing if the list as a whole falls for the same tactics as usual. I'm not hopeful.

If you’re going to highlight how “crappy the company offer is” then at least keep the facts to a maximum and the exaggerating to a minimum. People will take you more seriously.

I don’t understand why we can’t just keep the traditional and historic industry practice of FOs making 70% of captain’s rates. Problem solved.

Zap is the only one who said he'd vote yes on what's been presented. I responded to Whack because he's feeding a troll who is incapable of communication without excessive hyperbole or personal insults that's on my ignore list.

People who can't dissect an issue or an offer without getting emotional, engaging in constant hyperbole and calling other people's names generally tend to get ignored... doesn't make what people like that have to say necessarily without merit, but it does make ignoring them very easy and often much more peaceful. I don't know if that's your intent, but that's the effect.

With respect to what's been "leaked", I've said my peace on another thread. Some good things, some WTF things, lots of meh things and one of the most important issues to me was not "leaked." The rates alone being what they're rumored to be, though lower than I'd like them to be, wouldn't necessarily tank it for me. The other stuff definitely would. From what I've seen leaked, I'm certainly not ecstatic or jazzed, but I'm willing to keep reading just as I suppose most are. My hope is that the likes of you step out of your tendencies to sh!t on other people and instead focus of breaking down issues, accept criticism if someone disagrees with you and engage in a civilized debate. Remember... plenty of people reading, far fewer post. Convince them with points and don't be too lazy to show your work. Doing the pigeon-playing-chess routine is one of the fastest ways to get tuned out.

Just my .02 cents, but you do you.
